    Vortex flowmeter is composed of a eddy generator (triangular prism), piezoelectric detector and concerned electronic circuit. When medium passes through the triangular prism with speed, there will be a alternate eddy area beside the triangular prism which is called Carmen Vortex. The alternation of eddy on both side of trangular prism makes pressure fluctuation and then make detector generates alternative pressure. As a result piezoelectric crystal sealed in the detector will make alternative electric signal of which the frequency is the same with the frequency of the eddy. Then the amplifier amplifies, filtrates, shapes the electric signals and outputs pulse signals which is directly proportional to throughput of medium. The pulse signals are send to calculus meter to realize display of instantaneous and cumulative discharge, communication and control between discharge data and microcomputer system.
